At one point and for a long time, both fashion and style were about how loud you could be with prints, textures and mismatching, alike. So quickly it changed and recently brought back a more simple way of style but rather than taking it back to plain Jane mode, we’re seeing a more striking and bold way to keeping your style minimal.
H&M describes it as the new minimalism. It’s a simple and minimal look but with impact! We’ve noticed this way of style as well and must address the best way to tackle it, especially for fall.
Keep your look minimal by sticking to all solid colors or by wearing one print at a time. Layers are always good but instead of mismatching a bunch of prints or colors try integrating light fabrics, silky textures, oversized shapes. Thinking of these elements but keeping it simple with colors, even by matching head to toe, and patterns is a great way to take on the new minimalism.
