Here at PG, we love any excuse to show up and show out for fashion, not to mention the amazing networking opportunities! Hosted at Soho’s GoldBar by Urban Suite Public Relations, the event was intimate, yet festive, as complimentary specialty cocktails were served as the DJ spun an eclectic mix.
The brands on display included Adea, a lingerie brand; Rainforest, a unisex outerwear brand; and Ariana Bohling, a unisex shoe brand. The intimacy of the event made for great face time with representatives of some of the brands to learn more about their creations.
In speaking with Alan Bindler, the Senior Men’s Designer of Rainforest, I learned of their 30+ year heritage. “We’ve been in business since the mid-80s, so the fathers of the young ones know about us, so now it’s all about introducing ourselves to their sons.”
One piece, a personal favorite, that is sure to bridge the gap was a hunter green quilted overcoat, which can actually double as a blazer as well. Versatile, yet still practical, we absolutely love it! I even got to try one of their longer pieces on!
